Scred Connexion

The Scred Connexion is a French hip- hop group, which is characterized by the quality of their texts, intellectually, in part, but also by the values ​​conveyed by the broad masses of the French hip-hop stands ( texts such as: le bonheur, avec se qu'on vit, l' argent facile, comment ils font, remballe ).

The group consists of five rappers: Fabe ( Fabrice ), Morad, Mokless, Haroun and coma. Up to Fabe all come from Arab immigrant families. They come from Barbès in the 18th arrondissement of Paris.

Fabe, who converted to Islam, the group left in 2000 to theology in Quebec (Canada) to study. Since then, the Scred Connexion has lost popularity. Despite their origin from a troubled districts the group from any kind of violence in their lyrics, which is rather an exception in hip-hop circles distanced themselves.
