Eastern Screech Owl ( Megascops asio )

The screech owl ( Megascops ) are a genus of authentics owls ( Strigidae ). The genus includes about 30 species that were set earlier in the scops owl ( Otus ). There are small to medium-sized owls that occur exclusively in America. Most screech owls are strictly nocturnal and hunt mainly large insects and other small prey.
