Sculpture in the Parklands
Sculpture in the Parklands is a sculpture park in County Offaly, Ireland.
History
The first works of art emerged in 2002 during the Lough Boora International Sculpture Symposium, which was attended by eight Irish and international land art artists. Each year, the collection was expanded by several works.
The Sculpture in the Parklands are located on a site of 20 acres. The Sculpture Park is one of five attractions at the 2000 -acre Lough Boora Parklands, a marshland. The other tourist attractions are Finnamore Lakes, Wetlands Turraun, Mesolithic site and Cloghan Wetlands.
