Sculpture walk Hoher Fläming

The art walk Hoher Flaming is a system of sculptures routes in the Natural Park Hoher Flaming in Brandenburg, the / connects the stations of Bad Belzig and Wiesenburg Mark. The 17- km-long northern route was opened on 5 August 2007, the 16 km long southern route on May 8, 2010. Various connection paths are planned. The nature park club Flaming eV has planned and implemented both routes. Funding was provided through the European LEADER program.

Northern Route

Along the northern route 10 landscape -related works of art were realized, which were determined as part of a nationwide competition from 114 candidates. Chairman of the jury, Prof. Rolf Kuhn, the executive director of the International Building Prince Pueckler country.

Southbound

The competition for the realization of the southern route was announced in January 2009. Topic was the colonization of the Flaming by Flemings 850 years ago. The art competition was held in Flanders and in flaming. In a two-stage competitive process six works of art from Flanders and from the Flaming been selected for implementation. Chairman of the jury was again Prof. Rolf Kuhn.

Art, country high fläming

Under the umbrella of art, country high fläming present their artistic activities in the High Fläming. A project group e under the umbrella of the Nature Park Association Flaming V. designed artistic projects in the High Fläming and implements them. The first project was the art trail, a 2.5 -km long track with decorated by local artists, art works in 2006. After the realization of the northern route of the art trail in 2007 and the southern route in 2010, other projects planned.
