SD Ponferradina

The Sociedad Deportiva Ponferradina is a Spanish football club from the town of Ponferrada, León. The club, founded in 1922 currently plays in the Segunda División.

History

SD Ponferradina was founded in 1922 by the first president of the club Eustaquio Lopez Boto. Together with Cultural Leonesa Ponferradina is the highest -playing team from the Castile and León. Both play in group II Segunda División B. In his more than 80 years of tradition, the first and only time the promotion to Segunda División that.
