Sea-Land Service

The Sea-Land Corporation was an American shipping company.

The Sea-Land Corporation was founded by Malcom McLean, and was among the pioneers of container shipping. From 1988, she was part of the CSX Corporation, which she sold to the Danish AP Møller- Mærsk Group in 1999. The ships sail under the name Maersk Line.

In January 2014 Maersk announced rebuild an independent shipping company under the name SeaLand, which operates the U.S. domestic services since January 2015.
