Sea World

Sea World is a marine theme park on the Gold Coast in Queensland, Australia. It contains various rides and animal exhibits.

The park was founded by Keith Williams as the Surfers Paradise Ski Gardens in 1958. 1971, the park was transferred to Southport Spit. Since 1972 is called the Sea World. Sea World presents a variety of shows with dolphins and sea lions. Currently (as of 2006) Sea World has four polar bears. In 2004, the Shark Bay was opened, a lifelike replica of a lagoon, which allows viewers to watch sharks both under and above water. Among many other aquarium with penguins, pelicans, etc. The park also offers some rides, carousels, 3D and 4D shows. In 1986 the first monorail in Australia was put into operation in this park. On a two-kilometer route connects the park with the Sea World Nara Resort. There is also the volcano trip, where you have a reproduction of a volcano runs down in a "Boot" and then when you coming up in the water is wet.

From 2006 to 2010 was at Sea World, the Australian series " H2O Just add water" (H2O - Just Add Water ) rotated.
