Sean Davis (footballer)

Sean Davis ( born September 20, 1979 in Clapham, London ) is an English professional footballer.

Career

In his youth, Sean Davis played for Fulham before he made ​​his debut in October 1996 in a 3-0 home win against his club Cambridge United in the fourth division Third Division. Davis was at that time only 17 years old. On its next use the talent then had to wait until the 1998/99 season, where he completed some games. His breakthrough came a year later when he became a regular player and placed ninth in the second division with FC Fulham.

In the following season, Davis managed with Fulham the rise and has established itself in the season 2002 /03 in the Premier League. After that, he was even appointed to the England national team, but was not used against Australia. In the summer of 2004 he moved to Tottenham Hotspur in London, but where he could not prevail.
