Sean Gauthier

Sean D. Gauthier ( born March 28, 1971 in Sudbury, Ontario ) is a retired Canadian professional ice hockey goaltender. During his career he played for the San Jose Sharks of the National Hockey League, Leksand IF in the Swedish Elitserien and Skellefteå AIK in the Swedish HockeyAllsvenskan.

Career

Gauthier played with three years from 1988 to 1991 in the Ontario Hockey League before he was selected in the NHL Entry Draft in 1991 in the ninth round at 181 position of the Winnipeg Jets. Despite his move into the professional to the 1991/92 season, he never played for the Jets, but spent the seasons until the end of the 2001/02 season in the North American minor leagues. He played in the International Hockey League, American Hockey League and East Coast Hockey League, where he was elected in 1996 and 1998 to the Second All-Star team in the league and in the 1995/96 season in the jersey of the South Carolina Stingrays even a goal from the game could reach out. In addition, he played between 1994 and 1996 in the Roller Hockey International, an inline hockey league.
