Seán Kenny (politician)

Seán Kenny ( born October 1, 1942) is an Irish politician and a former deputy in the lower house of the Irish Parliament.

Kenny, who is ( Dublin City Council ) since 1979 for the Irish Labour Party Member of Dublin City Council, had from 1991 to 1992 held the office of Lord Mayor of Dublin. During his tenure, Dublin was 1991 European Capital of Culture.

1992 Kenny was elected to the 27th Dáil Éireann, after he had been repeatedly unsuccessful candidate. His seat in Dáil Éireann he held until 1997 to be re-elected because he did not succeed.

Kenny is married and has two children.
