Seán Moore (Irish politician)

Sean Moore ( born May 19, 1913 † 1 October 1986) was an Irish Fianna Fáil politician.

Moore was elected in the elections in 1965 in the constituency of Dublin South - East for Fianna Fáil in the 18th Dáil Éireann. He went to even for the next four elections in this constituency and could defend his position every time. During the 21st Dáil Éireann he was Minister of State of the Taoiseach, on 13 December 1973 to 30 June 1981 Minister of State in the Ministry of Defence. In February 1982, Moore lost his seat in the House, when he was defeated in elections to Dáil 22.

Sean Moore also belonged to the Dublin City Council and held on 24 June 1963 to the end of June 1964, the Office of the Mayor of (Lord Mayor of Dublin).
