Sean Taylor

Sean Taylor ( born April 1, 1983 in Miami, Florida, † November 27, 2007 ) was a U.S. American football player. He played on the position of Free Safety's for the Washington Redskins in the National Football League ( NFL) since 2004. Previously, Taylor College Football played for the team from the University of Miami. Of the Redskins, he was selected in 2004 as the fifth player in the first round of the NFL Draft. Taylor was known for his uncompromising hard tackles. His teammates called him jokingly " MEAST ", a portmanteau of " half man, half beast".

After he was shot by burglars at his home in Miami, Taylor died on 27 November 2007 to the consequences of severe blood loss.
