Sean Williams (basketball)

Sean Williams (born 13 September 1986 Houston, Texas ) is an American professional basketball player.

College

During his basketball team at Boston College, he became the most important throw blockers. However, he was known in his three college years, for his lack of discipline. He was suspended for a semester during his second year of college, after which he took courses at the University of Houston. Finally, Williams was expelled after two cautions in his third year of college from basketball. Still, he led the NCAA in the 2006/07 season in "Shot Blocks" to, of which he scored five per game.

Career

After three years at Boston College, he was selected in 17 out of the New Jersey Nets, where he phased for their " farm team " played Colorado 14ers of the NBA Development League (D - League). Beginning of 2010 was dismissed by the Nets. After two stations outside of the U.S., he played from November 2010 to the end of the 2010/2011 season for the Texas Legends in the D -League again. In the summer of 2012, he was transferred as part of an exchange from the Celtics to the Houston Rockets, but a month later dismissed without Williams had completed a championship game for the Rockets. For the 2012/13 season he joined then again the squad for the Texas Legends in the D- League.
