Seasoned salt

Seasoning salts or seasoning salts are spreadable mixture of table salt and spices, dried herbs and other seasonings such as freeze- dried vegetables granules, partly seasoning, glutamate and flavor.

According to the guidelines of the German Food Code seasoning salt must be at least 40 percent salt and 15 percent contain spices.

Seasoned salts to facilitate the preparation of dishes using only a pre- mixture must be used instead of salt and various spices. Some of them are also used for seasoning at the table.

Common spice salts are herbal salt, garlic salt, onion salt and celery salt, universal blends such as "ideal seasoning " and special compounds such as tomato Spicy salt ( with herbs ), chicken Spicy salt or French fries Spicy salt for certain dishes.
