Sebastian Freis ( born April 23, 1985 in Karlsruhe ) is a German football player.

Career

Karlsruher SC

Freis played in youth by 1999 at SC Weather Bach, before he moved to Karlsruher SC. There, the striker played since the 2004/ 05 season for the first team. On 15 October 2004 Freis scored a hat -trick in his second league debut. Since then, he was mostly in the starting lineup of the KSC and scored a total of 22 second-division goals. In the 2006/07 season he played in addition a key role in the rise of Karlsruhe in the Bundesliga.

In his first season in the top flight football Freis scored eight goals and was next to Tamás Hajnal the most prolific shooter of Baden. On April 26, 2008, he succeeded in a 3-3 draw against Werder Bremen his first " double " in the Bundesliga. On 7 February 2009, he met the 3-2 against Hamburger SV again twice.

1 FC Köln

In summer 2009, Freis worked for three years until 1 FC Cologne. There, however, the attacker in the following two and a half years could win a regular place.

SC Freiburg

In January 2012, Freis moved to SC Freiburg. About the peel arrangements were not disclosed.

National

Freis belonged to the squad of the U-21 national team, for whom he first came on 10 October 2006 at 0:2 against England for use.
