Sebastian Harnisch

Sebastian Ralph Johannes Harnisch ( born February 3, 1967) is a German political scientist.

Life and work

Since 2007 he has been at the Ruprecht -Karls- University of Heidelberg professor of international relations and foreign policy. Previously, he had he represented the Department of International Politics at the University of the Bundeswehr Munich.

Harnisch studied at the University of Trier Political Science and History. After a year abroad at Georgetown University in 1993, he made his MA The DFG subsequently promoted research in Seoul ( Yonsei University) and Tokyo, and New York (Columbia University), and 1998 armor received his doctorate at the University of Trier with a dissertation on the U.S. Korea policy.
