Sebastian Hofmann

Sebastian Hofmann ( born September 12, 1983 in Sinsheim ) is a German football player.

Career

After Hofmann in 2002 moved from the youth of the Karlsruher SC for TSG 1899 Hoffenheim, in 2003 he made his first game for the first team of TSG in the third-tier Regionalliga Süd. In 2006 he moved within the league for the second team of VfB Stuttgart. With the team, he qualified in 2008 for the new single-track 3 league. His professional debut Hofmann 26 July 2008 on the opening day of the 2008/09 season against Kickers Offenbach. In his first year as a pro, the striker was still used regularly, scoring six goals in 23 events. The following year, but he was only there as a substitute.

For the 2010/11 season Hofmann joined the second division FC Ingolstadt 04 after one season in which he ( three goals ) completed 14 league games, he went in the summer of 2011 in the 3rd League for SSV Jahn Regensburg. After a lengthy ligament injury he got in the first round only once used only in the winter training camp incurring an elbow injury that allowed him to play in the second round only once. At the end of the season the club managed over the relegation promotion to the 2nd Bundesliga. There Hofmann came to nine starts; after the immediate re descent, his contract was not renewed in Regensburg in the summer of 2013. He then joined the Oberliga FC Nöttingen.
