Sebastian Rode

Sebastian Rode ( born October 11, 1990 in Seeheim- Jugenheim ) is a German football player who is under contract with the Bundesliga side Eintracht Frankfurt since the 2010/11 season.

Career

Clubs

After teenage years when SKV Haehnlein, FC Alsbach, SC Viktoria Griesheim and SV Darmstadt 98 Rode moved to the youth department of Kickers Offenbach.

Kickers Offenbach

Since the 2008/ 09 season he coached with the professionals of Kickers Offenbach in the league and came third in his first season to two substitutions.

Eintracht Frankfurt

For the 2010/11 season signed Rode a valid contract until the summer of 2014 at the Bundesliga Eintracht Frankfurt, for which he, on 21 January 2011 ( 19th Round ) debuted at the 0-1 defeat in the away match against Hamburger SV in the Bundesliga. On 22 May 2008 he made his debut in the national team when he reached a 1-1 draw with the U-18 national team in Herne against the national team of Turkey.

On 11 February 2009, he played in Kozani first time for the U-19 national team in the 1-3 defeat against the selection of Greece. His first international goal he scored for this selection on May 21, 2009 in Tallinn in his fourth deployment in the 5-0 victory over the selection of Estonia.
