Sebastian Schmidt (luger)

Sebastian Schmidt ( born 1 February 1978 in Bautzen ) is a former German luger. He has been active since 1987 and trained first at SG Bautzen- Nord. The Polizeiobermeister launched for the SSV Altenberg. Since 1992, he was trained in the State Training Centre for Bob, luge and biathlon. His greatest successes came in the doubles with his longtime partner André Forker. Even at junior level the team rodelte together. In 1998 she was team Junior World Champion and Vice World Champion in the Junior double in Sigulda.
