Secretariat of Economy

The Secretaría de Economía (SE ) is the "Economy Secretariat ( the government) " in Mexico, comparable to a Ministry of Economy.

The originally called " Secretariat of Industry, Trade and Labor " ( Secretaría de Industria, Comercio y Trabajo ), founded political organ was built in 1932 renamed to "Secretary of National Economy " ( Secretaría de la Economía Nacional). Between 1946 and 1958, the Secretariat ever wore the current name, that carries it back since 2000. In the meantime, it said 1958-1976 Secretaría de Industria y Comercio, then to 1982 Secretaría de Comercio and until 2000 " Secretariat of Trade and Industrial Promotion " ( Secretaría de Comercio y Fomento Industrial - SECOFI ).

The Secretaría de Economía is divided into four sub- secretariats for " small and medium-sized enterprises " ( Pequeña y Mediana Empresa ), " Standardization, foreign investment and international trade practice" ( normatividad, Inversión Extranjera y Prácticas Comerciales Internacionales ), "Industry and Trade" and " International trade agreements " ( Negociaciones Comerciales Internacionales ), also in the Secretariado Técnico de Planificación, Enlace Comunicación y for planning, communication, and connection techniques as well as the General coordination Office for Mining ( Coordinación General de Minería ).
