Seebach (Unstrut)

The savage trench of the origin in Kainspring in Oberdorla

The Seebach is about 9.5 km long right tributary of the Unstrut in Thuringia.

Course

As Wilder ditch he rises in the karst spring Kainspring at Oberdorla. In addition, he takes on the spring water coming from the left of the creek from the small Kainspring and Melchior fountain. The Wild ditch flows east through a garden settlement over Oberdorla after Niederdorla. There the Mühlbach branches off from the savage trench, the latter flows around the town in the south. After both arms together again flow to the ponds east of Niederdorla, the creek is named Seebach.

After about two kilometers it flows from the right Singelbach, which flows through the dam Seebach, too. The Seebach Seebach now reached the place where it crosses under the highway 247 and opens into the Unstrut.
