Seeburg Corporation

JP Seeburg was an American producer of phonographs until the late 1970s, based in Chicago. The company was founded by Sweden Justus P. Sjöberg, who had left his hometown Gothenburg in 1887 at the age of 16 years and had emigrated to the United States, where he took the name Seeburg.

The first jukebox, which could play the new single record in 1952, was the model M100B. Previously Seeburg had with the Model M100A ( 1948-51 ) with the two-sided play 50 shellac discs revolutionized the music business.

The V and VL 200 was introduced in 1955 and offered 200 options. Thus, they revolutionized the Musikboxmarkt again and was able to maintain top position with.
