Seeing is Believing (organization)

Seeing is Believing ( SiB ) is a global initiative for the prevention of blindness. SiB is in partnership with the organization Standard Chartered Bank PLC and the International Agency for the Prevention of International Agency Blindness ( IAPB ) connected ( registered charity, no. 110059 ).

The last campaign of the organization was Phase IV - "A New Vision" and was launched on World Sight Day 2008. It was sharpened by international actions in several countries, the awareness of how blindness caused by certain diseases, such as of beri- beri disease can be caused, which occur particularly in African developing countries.

The program was especially funded by the Gaborone City Marathon in Gaborone, Botswana, which took place on April 18, 2010.
