Seek Bromance is a song by Swedish DJ Avicii. He appeared on 12 November 2010 as a single in Germany and in several countries was a top 10 hit, or even the number -one hit.

Formation

Seek Bromance is a mash up of the two songs Bromance and Love U Seek. The instrumental track Bromance was released on 6 August 2010 under his other pseudonym Tim Berg. Together with Arash Pour Nouri he remixed the song some time later, with the voice of Amanda Wilson Love U Seek in the song. Love You Seek comes from the Italian DJ Samuele Sartini. Even the song titles came from the two songs name Love You Seek and Bromance.

Seek Bromance Avicii was composed by myself and Arash Pour Nouri. The text written Samuele Sartini, Maurizio Alfieri, Davide Dome Ella, Wendy Lewis, Andrea Tonici, Amanda Wilson and Massimiliano Moroldo. Avicii produced the track and took him on 12 November 2010 on the German dance label Kontor Records digitally and as a CD single out. In the Netherlands he appeared in October.

Music Video

The official music video was released on September 30, 2010 on the official YouTube channel of Kontor Records. It is very complex. It can be interpreted in different directions.

It starts with the fact that a boy is thrown from his father out of the house. He is angry at his friends waiting in his car and jumps into. His girlfriend leans over to him and asks if everything is okay. He shakes his head and steps on the gas pedal. After some time he has calmed down and the three made ​​themselves laughing on the way from Los Angeles to Las Vegas. You make several more intermediate stops, such as a cafeteria or in the desert, where they burned a campfire, eat and smoke a cigarette for fun. The next day, they drive on. Then the car has a defect, and they are trying to get ahead by hitchhiking. But they are not observed. The two boys repair the car and the group finally arrives at night in Las Vegas. The three marvel at the many casinos. Together they celebrate. When the girl dancing on the tables, turns and zips the two guys in the head. After a long evening, the trio falls into bed. Together the two boys kiss the girl, but the next morning the two leave they are and continue.

A deeper interpretation of the video shows that it suppressed homosexuality is discussed. So the red-haired boy is being thrown at the beginning of his father from the family home. It often happens that the male parent has problems with homosexuality of his son and that's why this does not want to have in the house. The boy himself does not want to admit his affection. The girl asks him if he was homosexual beginning of the video, he beneint this question. However, the girl is seen in the entire video of nobody, it does not exist. When the car broke down no stops, the girl dances provocatively, but is ignored by all men and only the boys kicked out of the casino. The girl is a metaphor for the repressed homosexuality of the boys dar. the end they sleep together and thus admit a their inclinations. Finally, they need so that the metaphor, the girl, no more and go on alone.
