In the administration of Community Lakeland from the Thuringian Saale- Orla-Kreis located 15 municipalities have joined together to do their administrative business. It lies between the cities Schleiz and Neustadt an der Orla. Office of the Management Community is Oettersdorf.

History

Your name until November 3, 1994 was Verwaltungsgemeinschaft Oettersdorf. Until December 1, 2010 also included the community Dragensdorf to manage community, which was then incorporated to Dittersdorf.

Since 2007, standing in the communities Dittersdorf, Tegau, Moßbach, Plothen, Göschitz, Burkersdorf Rödersdorf and Chursdorf thanks to a citizens' initiative fast broadband connections.

With the Thuringian law for voluntary reorganization circle, national communities in 2013, the community was incorporated into Chursdorf Dittersdorf.
