Seeta Aur Geeta (Hindi: सीता और गीता, Sita aur Gītā; translated: Sita and Gita ) is a Hindi film directed by Ramesh Sippy in 1972 with Hema Malini in a double role.

Action

The rich couple finds in a simple house makeshift shelter, because there giving birth to a woman a child even before the doctor arrives. Then the young family travels on not knowing that the woman of the house one of the children has retained. Since twins were born have placed with the childless hosts one of the girls.

Years later, the twins Geeta, the gypsy dancer of acrobats Raka, and Seeta, who lives after the death of their parents in their evil aunt Kaushalya and is being treated by her like a slave, do not know about each other always.

Due to the chicane in Seetas unhappy life, she wants to commit suicide, but before could still happen it is prevented and taken to Raka, since they are considered Geeta. Ravi falls in love with Geeta, during which Raka in love with Seeta, although both realize that their loved one suddenly behave very differently.
