Seeztal

The Seeztal is the plain east of Lake Walen, surrounded by the Alps, and part of the Swiss Sarganserland. In Sargans the Seeztal acts like a straight further to the northwest branch of the Chur Rhine Valley, which applies here as St. Gallen Rhine Valley to the northeast. In fact located in the plane at Mels the watershed between the Rhine and the Limmat inflow. In Seeztal are the villages whales city, Mels, Holy Cross, and Flums Tscherlach. The valley is drained by the Seez, which comes from the Weisstannental and occurs in Mels in the plane. The plane is crossed by the highway A3, the railway bridge brick - Chur and the 380 kV line Sils- Fällanden.
