Ségou Region

The Ségou region lies in the south of the Republic of Mali. It has 2,336,255 inhabitants ( census 2009) over an area of ​​64,947 km ² (this represents about 5 % of the area of Mali ). The main cities are Ségou, Markala and Niono.
