Segrate

Segrate is a town with 33 636 inhabitants ( 31 December 2012) in the Province of Milan, Lombardy region. In the village is a mosque. In addition, is located in the center of the publishing house Arnoldo Mondadori Editore.

The nearby towns of Segrate Milan are, Vimodrone Pioltello and Peschiera Borromeo.

Demography

Segrate counts 13,795 households. Between 1991 and 2001 the population increased from 32,368 to 33,199. This represents a percentage increase of 2.6%.

In 1970 the company began Edilnord contractor Silvio Berlusconi with the work plan for the City Milano Due. The residential area was completed in 1979; it includes an artificial lake and the renowned San Raffaele Hospital.
