SEGRO

SEGRO (formerly Slough Estates ) is an investment and real estate group based in the UK. The company is listed on the FTSE to the London Stock Exchange. On 22 May 2007, Slough Estates plc called into SEGRO plc.

The origin has in place SEGRO Slough, opposite Windsor Castle. 1920 was developed on a 200-hectare site, the Slough Trading Estate, that today is the largest industrial estate in Europe, that a company operates alone. More than 400 companies in more than 600 buildings with over 20,000 employees have a location in this area. This area was the first British company parking.

SEGRO has 5.5 million m² ( building space ) commercial and industrial areas in the UK, Germany, Belgium, Netherlands, France, Italy, Poland and the Czech Republic. The group is active in 14 European offices. The locations in Amsterdam, Berlin, Brussels, Dusseldorf and Frankfurt are the SEGRO Business Unit Northern Europe. These offices are headed by the Business Unit Director Jouke Kist. Together with his team, to the Regional Directors Ernst Sweens, Thomas Suhr, Sebastian Schmelz and Dr. Michael Hölzgen, as well as the Finance Director Kai Röpe, the Development Director Samer Mulla and the Technical Director Olaf Huhle belong, he is responsible for 1.3 million. sqm building leased space and a large number of undeveloped land.

The land surfaces include surfaces in the UK in the area of Bristol, Cambridge and Southampton. Similarly, SEGRO large areas in the area of Farnborough, purchased at the side of the British Ministry of Defence. In Northern Europe, SEGRO developed the Park Berlin Airport in Berlin, in the region Dusseldorf the SEGRO Logistics Park Krefeld -South and the SEGRO Park Dusseldorf -Sud, in Frankfurt the SEGRO Logistics Park Frankfurt- Alzenau, in Brussels, the SEGRO Office Park Brussels Airport and in Amsterdam the SEGRO Park Schiphol -West. Many of the sites are in close proximity to the airports.
