Segunda División B

The Segunda División B ( short 2 ª B ) is the third highest league in the league system of Spanish football. It is headed by the Real Federación Española de Fútbol. The higher leagues called La Liga and Segunda División; the next lower division is the Tercera División.

Structure

The third Spanish division will be held in four regional groups since the 1987/88 season. In the first ten years ( this League was founded in 1977 ), it was divided only into two groups. In each of the four groups of 20 teams each two home and away games against each other.

The top four teams in each group play relegation matches against each other to climb four places in the Segunda División carve up. The second teams a club can not be the first team should ascend to be in the league about it. The last four teams in each group advance to the Tercera División. If the first team of a club descend, the second team that team automatically gets off when she is in the immediately underlying League.
