Seka Aleksić

Svetlana " Seka " Aleksic (Cyrillic Светлана Сека Алексић; born April 23, 1981 in Zvornik, Yugoslavia, now Bosnia and Herzegovina ) is a Bosnian Serb turbo - folk singer who is popular in the Western Balkans.

She was born on 23 April 1981 in Zvornik, where they grew up together in a suburb of the city with her brother Nedžad with their parents Ibrima and Milorad. When they divorced, she stayed with her ​​mother. They moved because of the Bosnian war in the Serbian town of Banja Koviljača, where she graduated from high school, and later in the near Šabacs. In 1996, she broke the agricultural school in Sabac off due to lack of services and began to deal with the beginning of her career. At the beginning she sang in cafés and was known from time to time. In order to increase its visibility, she moved for two years in Switzerland, where she sang in clubs and discotheques, and then moved to Bijeljina. At a music festival in Ćuprija she met her husband. However, they divorced again after a short time. Soon after, she came with her boyfriend and manager, Zoran Kovačević. With initial difficulties due to their Bosnian Serb descent, they could start their career in 2002 with the album idealno tvoja. Today it is popular not only in the Western Balkans, but also in many European countries with immigrants from the former Yugoslavia.

Since 2002 she has released a total of five albums and is thus regarded as one of the largest turbo - folk stars. In 2005 she released the album Dodji i uzmi me ( Come and take me!), Which was one of the most successful albums of the year 2005. Their biggest hits are Crno i Zlatno, Balkan, Da sam muscovite, Dodji i uzmi me, Sviđa mi se tvoja Devojka, Za ljubav mobilna, Kad čujem Korak tvoj and Moje prvo neverstvo. The end of 2007 published Aleksic their fourth album called Kraljica that time contains eleven songs instead of the usual ten. There are music videos for four songs, aspirin, Kraljica, Boli stara ljubav and let Poslednji. Mid-December 2009 appeared to her now fifth album Slučajni partneri.

In addition to her musical career Aleksic dabbles in other areas of activity. In the comedy Mi nismo anđeli 3 ( We are not angels 3) she made her first appearance as an actress in. In addition, she runs the fashion label Rich Bitch and Queen.

Mid-April 2010 launched her own show Moja Desna ruka (my right hand ) on the Serbian FOX Televizija in which they their new right hand, so her new assistant sought from more than 450,000 applicants. After five years relationship Aleksic and Kovačević confirmed the end of their relationship. Today she lives with her fiance Veljko Piljikić in Beograd. On 12 September 2010 the couple married.
