Self-service

The term self-service ( SB) is a phenomenon in services referred to in the operation, which was formerly carried out by staff, is for the purpose of cost reduction, time savings or improved availability carried out wholly or partly by the customer. This machine also preferably be used. The term can also be used for areas where an operator has never taken place by staff.

  • Self-service restaurant, where the food and drinks are compiled and paid in a central checkout area by the customer.
