Selim Ay ( born July 31, 1991, Antalya) is a Turkish football player in the service of Torku Konyaspor.

Career

Ay learned to play football in order in the youth teams Sidespor, Kepez Belediyespor and Konyaspor. In 2010 he received in the latter a professional contract, but continued to play almost exclusively for the reserve team. Only on the last day he was in the second league game of his debut in the pros. The season 2010/11 he spent exclusively in the reserve team.

For the season 2011/12 Konyaspor imposed a transfer ban by UEFA, so you had to get through the season with the existing players or with the players from the youth and reserve teams. Thus Ay was involved with the upcoming season in the first team. By the end of the season he completed 35 league matches and managed with his team in the relegation of TFF 1 Lig and missed here due to the retirement in the semifinal promotion to the Süper Lig
