Selim Teber

Ufuk Selim Teber ( born March 7, 1981 in Frankenthal ) is a German footballer of Turkish descent. His position is attacking midfield.

Career

Association

Selim Teber began playing football at the ASV 05 Edigheim, on the SV Pfingstweide VfR Frankenthal and he eventually moved to the B- youth of SV Waldhof Mannheim. In 1999 he moved to the professionals and from there into the 2002/ 03 Bundesliga for 1.FC Kaiserslautern. In 37 Bundesliga missions he scored two goals.

Since he could not prevail at the 1 FC Kaiserslautern, he was loaned in the season 2003/ 2004 to the SV Austria Salzburg. In 2005 he finally moved to Turkey, the homeland of his parents, and signed with Denizlispor. In the season 2005/ 06 Selim Teber returned to Germany, playing for TSG 1899 Hoffenheim, with which he made ​​the walkthrough of the Regionalliga Süd in the 1st Bundesliga between 2007 and 2008.
