The Selischarowka (Russian Селижаровка ) is a 36 km long left tributary of the Volga River in the European part of Russia. She is one of the main tributaries of the Volga at its upper reaches.

Description

The Selischarowka forms the outflow of Seliger in the Tver Oblast. She leaves the lake at its southern end and flows thence in a southerly direction through the wooded west of Tver Oblast. In Selischarowo opens the short but rich in water flow into the Volga.

The Selischarowka flows through on its running a wooded, between ten and twenty meters wide valley. Because of its scenic location it is a popular destination for excursions, for anglers and boaters. There are numerous holiday homes and dachas on its banks. From December to March, the river is frozen.
