Selke-Aue
Selke - Aue is a municipality in the district of Harz, in Saxony- Anhalt. She is a member congregation of the community association Vorharz
The parish was formed on 1 January 2010 from the voluntary association of municipalities and Hausneindorf Wedderstedt. The community Heteborn was incorporated into this new church on the same day.
The merger took place against the background of the municipal reform in Saxony- Anhalt and the accompanying law laid down in the minimum number of 1,000 inhabitants in municipalities that belong to a community association.

Coat of arms
The coat of arms was approved on November 30, 2011 by the county.
Blazon: "On a blue wave bar occupied silver blue sign foot in front schwarzgefugter a silver tower with a pointed hood and black window opening, a rising middle gold oak leaf and rear schwarzgefugter a silver tower with a hipped roof and black window opening. "
The colors of the community are white - blue.
The coat of arms was designed by Karl -Heinz Fritze from Niederorschel.

The flag is blue - white - blue ( 1:4:1 ) with stripes ( stripes running vertically ) and centrally occupied with the municipal coat of arms.
