Selle Royal

Selle Royal S. p. A. is an Italian company that manufactures bicycle saddles and bicycle accessories. It was founded in 1956 by Riccardo Bigolin.

Selle Royal is now one of the market leaders in the manufacture of bicycle saddles and annually produces up to 14 million saddles. Every day around 72,000 calipers in the production facility in Pozzoleone ( province of Vicenza ) can be recovered if needed. About 95 percent of the production Selle Royal exported to more than 30 countries. In Germany Selle Royal has a market share of around 60 percent.

Saddles Selle Royal are installed by many international bicycle manufacturers as original equipment manufacturer and are commercially available as cycling accessories.

A striking product of the company Selle Royal is the " LOOKIN 'series. Transparent windows in the saddle allow an insight into the saddle, which is filled with " Royal - gel". RoyalgelTM is a protected brand name. The gel absorbs according to the company up to 40 percent of strokes occur.
