Selman A. Waksman Award in Microbiology

The Selman A. Waksman Award in Microbiology is to be awarded by the National Academy of Sciences of the United States award Science Award, with the special achievements in the field of microbiology. It is named after the American biochemist and Nobel Laureate Selman Abraham Waksman (1888-1973) and endowed with 5,000 U.S. dollars.
