Sembiin Gonchigsumlaa

Sembiin Gontschigsumlaa (Mongolian Сэмбийн Гончигсумлаа; born February 18, 1915 in Bajanchongor, † February 25, 1991 in Ulaanbaatar ) was a Mongolian composer and conductor.

Gontschigsumlaa studied in Ulaanbaatar and Irkutsk and worked in his home as interpreters, teachers and veterinary. He studied from 1943 to 1950 at the Moscow Conservatory in composition and conducting, and was then to 1960 Conductor of the National Music Theatre in Ulaanbaatar. He composed several operas and ballets, a symphony, piano pieces and songs mass.
