Sembrancher

Sembrancher (former German name: Saint Brancher ) is a municipality in the district of Entremont in the French speaking part of the canton of Valais in Switzerland.

In the sixties, the small Gérald Métroz went as " the miracle of Sembrancher " by the press, because he had been run over by a train here, but had survived with severed legs.
