Seminiferous tubule

The seminiferous tubules ( seminiferous tubules ) are the place in the testes, sperm are formed on the under spermatogenesis and chaired by the testes in the vas deferens.

You are surrounded by a connective tissue sheath and having a fabric layer, the germinal epithelium, lined. In this fabric layer are produced in a multi-step aging process of spermatogenesis, sperm. In the seminiferous epithelium are also the Sertoli cells that nourish the sperm. In the adult male all seminiferous tubules were taken together, about 350 meters long.
