Senarpont

Senarpont ( Picard: Ésnèrpont ) is a northern French village with 677 inhabitants (as of 1 January 2011) in the department of Somme in the Picardie region. The municipality is located in Abbeville District (since 2009) and is part of the Communauté de communes de la Région d' Oisemont and Canton Oisemont.

Geography

The community is located at the mouth of the river Liger in the Bresle about 8 km southwest of Oisemont at the intersection of department streets D1015, an old Roman road, D25 after Guimerville (municipality Hodeng -au -Bosc ) in the Seine -Maritime on the opposite bank of the Bresle D211 and after 15 km away Hornoy -le- Bourg. The railway line from Aumale to Le Tréport extends beyond the Bresle outside the municipal area.
