Seneca Falls is a district of the same place Seneca Falls, Seneca County ( upstate New York).

History

In 1848 there was under the auspices of women's rights activist Elizabeth Cady Stanton, who lived there with her husband Henry Stanton, Lucretia Mott and her friend at a women's rights convention, the Women 's Right Convention (now known as the Seneca Falls Convention ) written. The Congress and its final declaration, considered the birth of organized U.S. women's movement.
