Senepol

The Senepol beef is a Caribbean breed of cattle from the Small Antilles island of Saint Croix, which belongs to the U.S. Virgin Islands.

In the early 20th century crossed Henry C. Nelthropp Red Poll cattle and N'Dama cattle that had been imported from Senegal.

The Senepol breed combines the advantages of the N'Dama ( heat tolerance, insect resistance ) with those of Red Polls (extreme good nature, good meat and high milk production).
