Senior Open Championship
The Senior Open Championship, or simply The Senior Open ( originally also Senior British Open ) is a professional golf tournament for men over 50 years. It is organized by the Royal and Ancient Golf Club of St Andrews. For the first time the tournament was held in 1987 and in 1992 was part of the European Seniors Tour. Since 2003 it is considered the fifth major golf tournament of the Champions Tour.
