Senior Railcard

Senior tickets are offered in public transport at a special, low rate tickets for passengers with a certain minimum age, and is usually 60-70 years depending on the offering transport association.

Special offers

A senior citizen ticket can also be offered in the form of a regular card with additional conditions. For example, there are in Bielefeld ( moBiel ) a special subscription, with the over 60s at any time can take an additional adults ( no age limit). The offer is the result of the experience that many older people are unsure and would rather go with an accompaniment. This "subscription plus 60 " is also transferable to another person over 60, therefore the risk of too low usage example due to illness is minimized ( minimum contract duration 12 months).
