Senit

Senhit Tzadik Tzadik ( born October 1, 1979 in Bologna), known by the stage name Senit, is an Italian singer of Eritrean origin. She represented the country of San Marino in the Euro Vision Song Contest 2011.

Life

Senit grew up with her ​​Eritrean parents in the northern Italian city of Bologna, but sought early in their career in 1999 engagements in Germany and Switzerland. So they worked with, among others, to Musica Run Run Fame, Hair and 2001 The Lion King. In 2002, she finally returned to Italy, and published there in 2006 and 2007, their first two albums Senit and Un tesoro é necessariamente nascosto. Followed in 2009, her third album, So high English language. She is currently working on a new album.

In February 2011, she was presented as a participant for San Marino in the Euro Vision Song Contest (ESC ) in May 2011 in Dusseldorf. It was the second ESC participation for the country. The English-language title stand by it but did not succeed to qualify for the final.
