Sennebogen
The Sennebogen Maschinenfabrik GmbH is a German engineering company with around 1000 employees worldwide and about 350 million euros of sales value ( 2008, Enterprise Group ).
History
The company was founded in 1952 by the then 21 -year-old Erich Sennebogen ( 1931-2011 ) and began the manufacture of agricultural machinery. In 1959 the construction of the main plant in Straubing. In 1991 a second plant added in Wacker village. Since 1996, the company operates its own manufacturing plant for welding and steel components in Balatonfured, Hungary. In all major regions Sennebogen is also equipped with its own local subsidiaries:
- Sennebogen LLC in Charlotte, USA
- Sennebogen Middle East in Dubai, UAE
- Sennebogen CIS in St. Petersburg, Russia
- Sennebogen Pte. Ltd.. in Singapore
In early 2008 the company expanded its locations to a new and much larger facility in the industrial area of Straubing- Sand.
Sennebogen is now a global company and produces complete model series for cable excavators, cranes, telescopic cranes, telescopic cranes, vehicle, material handling equipment and special support equipment.
The company is run by the second generation of the sons of the company founder, Erich and Walter Sennebogen.
