Senneterre, Quebec

Senneterre is a city (Ville ) in the western Canadian province of Quebec.

The small town is located in the MRC La Vallée- de - l'Or in the administrative region Abitibi- Témiscamingue. It was founded in 1919. In 1956, she received the city rights. Senneterre located on the banks of the river Rivière Bell, near the southern end of Lake Parent. In 2006 Senneterre counted 2867 inhabitants.

Technically, the city traffic on the Route 113 and Route 386 is connected to the road network of the province of Quebec. Cities in the surrounding area are Amos and Val- d'Or in the west and Lebel -sur- Quévillon in the north.
